So has anyone seen the green groomer lately?…  Nobody?

Green has been gone for over a month now and no one is missing him.  Not one person asked “Where’s Green been lately?”

Well, I can only assume that’s why Green confided in me. He was looking so down and out. 

So, I asked “Green, why so down?”  His reply said it all – “I just don’t fit in anymore and I feel I’m no longer needed”.  I knew then I had to do something before it was too late.  I told him if he dug deep – found that old spark that he once felt – he could do ANYTHING!

*Cue “Rocky” music*

And you know what?…That’s just what he did! 

First, we started by seeking out the local CrossFit gym where we heard there is a CrossFit Master. He knew he was not worthy of his teachings so he studied from afar and followed every step. Over several weeks of grueling commitment, Green was able to completely change his profile.

Feeling pretty good with his new buff self, Green felt he could use some new skills and a makeover.  So, after a course in ice economics, he can now turn an ice covered trail into sweet single-track. Next came a visit from the guy known as the “Old timer”.  As you will see, he is a guru of making something old look young again.

He soon realized he would need to protect his new exposed underside when out in the wild.  What better than a stainless-steel cup of armor.

Now being of English descent, word of his transformation soon reached the Queen.  Upon hearing his story, she presented him with the coveted Wings-o-glory and Knighted him as Sir. Grooms-a-lot of the Sled Shed realm.

wish you all could have been there! He was so excited and proud. 

On our way back home (from England), he said he liked his new name and all but…but was concerned how it would be received in the states.   And then it just came to me…A truly American name worthy of Sir Grooms-a-lot…

Groominator!!!

And with that, we hit the trail.
