Do you keep hearing those words “Fat Bike” and you have no idea what people are talking about? Well on Saturday December 2nd we want to show you what it is all about!
This event is purely a grass-roots, community based dealio. no sponsors, no entry fees, no t-shirts, no commercialization and no worries…..just, one of the best times, you have ever had on a fat-bike! GFBD isn’t owned or run by any commercial enterprise or Trail Advocacy Organization. GFBD belongs to everyone that has a fat-bike and wants to celebrate!
Join the Northern Michigan Mountain Bike Association-Cadillac Pathway and McLain’s Cycle and Fitness for a fun day in the woods!
We will be gathering up at the trailhead located just north of the Boon and Seeley intersection on Saturday December 2nd from 11am to 2pm. A recreation passport is required to park at this trailhead.
At noon we will have a group ride departing.
If you don’t have a fat bike and would like to try one out McLain’s will have quite the assortment of fatties there for you take a short spin on.
We also will be having hot beverages and snacks before and after your ride along with a warm fire.
